About ME
Hey, my name is Ricky Gonzalez.
My name is Ricky Gonzalez, from Louisville, KY. Graduated from Saint Xavier High School in 2023. Now, I am a junior studying finance at the University of Kentucky. Alongside my passion for financial markets and a strong commitment to personal growth—whether it’s through academics, fitness, or entrepreneurship—I’ve discovered a deep love for photography and caring for animals. Since 2021, Ive been pet sitting for neighbors and friends, and it's become more than just a service-it's a way to connect with people and their animals in a meaningful way. I treat every pet and home as if they were my own, always striving to provide the best service possible.
Whether I'm working out, studying the markets, or spending time with a client's pet, I aim to be my best every day-and earn the peace and satisfaction knowing that I truly earned the sunset.

Walks tailored to your pet's needs, ensuring they get the exercise and fresh air they deserve.
Frequent Check-Ins
Minimum of three daily visits for meals, attention, and care. Additional time can be arranged based on your preferences.
Daily updates
Receive daily photos, updates, even FaceTime of your pet to keep you reassured and connected while you're away.
Home Security
I prioritize both your pet's well-being and home security by double checking all doors entered/exited are locked before leaving

How Can pawsitive care be scheduled?
Pet sitting and photography services can be scheduled by clicking on the Contact section of the website. From there, you’ll be able to message me directly on Facebook to discuss your needs, go over the details, and find the best fit for your schedule.
What types of Pets are cared for?
Pet sitting is available for both dogs and cats. If care is needed for other animals, please reach out to discuss availability and accommodation's.
What areas are serviced?
For Summer 2025, Pawsitive Care is available in the Jeffersontown, Middletown, Fern Creek, and St. Matthews areas. Service outside of these neighborhoods may be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on availability and distance.
Photography sessions can be done anywhere in the city of Louisville.
Is a meet-and-greet available before the first visit?
Yes, before the first booking, a complimentary meet-and-greet is offered at the client's home. This allows time to become familiar with the pet, discuss any special instructions, and review expectations.
During this visit, I will also outline the process for keeping the home secure and ensuring the pet's well-being - including regular check-ins, updates, and responsible access to the property.
Are services available during the holidays?
Holiday bookings are available with advance notice. Due to increased demand, it is recommended to schedule early for major holidays.
How are pets kept safe during visits?
Safety is a top priority. During each visit, pets are monitored closely, routines are followed carefully, and any special needs or behaviors are respected. Secure handling, locked doors, and regular updates ensure peace of mind.
How will updates be shared during the visits?
Photo, video, text, and even FaceTime updates will be provided throughout the visit upon request, giving peace of mind and regular insight into how the pet is doing.
How is pricing determined?
Pricing starts at a flat rate of $30 a day, with the final rate depending on location, time spent, and any special accommodations requested. As a Jeffersontown local, Pawsitive Care aims to provide high-quality, personalized service at a fair rate. Full details will be provided during the phone consultation and meet-and-greet
How much will a photoshoot cost?
*OPTIONAL* - Clients serviced have the option to have their pet photographed with my SONY A7 iii. Animals serviced will have a much cheaper price than a booked date separately just for a photoshoot.
Clients serviced wanting quality photos will be an extra $35.
Booked photoshoot dates will be $50/hr.
